Meet Dr. Rebecca Rizol!

Dr. Rizol received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. During college, she worked at three different small animal clinics, after which she realized veterinary medicine was her passion. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, Dr. Rizol completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, MD. She then worked at a busy multi-doctor practice in Germantown, MD for almost 13 years before joining the Liberty Falls family. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, critical care, and ultrasound. She’s happiest meeting new people and developing relationships with her clients and their pets. Dr. Rizol is originally from Havertown, Pennsylvania and, like her dad, is an avid Philly sports fan. She currently lives in Damascus with her husband, Nesh, and their three daughters, Petra, Amelia, and Alaina. Her family also includes a feisty calico kitty, Sadie, and a toy poodle, Pufna. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, dining out, and visiting the beach in Ocean City, NJ. She also loves visiting Philadelphia and insists that Tony Luke’s has the best cheesesteaks in Philly!
